Ordering and payment

dftp.co.uk is open 24 hours a day, so you can shop almost anytime. However, we may need to shut down the site temporarily in order to perform maintenance. Purchases can only be made when the online shop is open and accessible.

To shop on dftp.co.uk you must be 18 years of age or older, and have a valid payment card that we accept. If you are not yet 18 years of age, you may still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian’s consent or otherwise have a legal right to make the purchase.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • Maestro
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • American Express
  • Union Pay
  • iDEAL

Select the items you want to buy and click the quantity you want in the “shopping basket”. You can amend the contents of your shopping basket up until the time you place the order, and you can check the contents and price of the items at any time. All prices on dftp.co.uk are inclusive of VAT and any other taxes. Free UK delivery is available on purchases totalling £60 or more.

When you are ready to place your order, click the “shopping basket” and enter your contact details – full name, address, email and phone number – and select your payment and delivery method.

You can change the contents of your shopping basket right up until you confirm your purchase by clicking the “Go to payment” button. Your order will then be forwarded to dftp.co.uk

Payment will not be charged to your card until the order has been processed and the parcel has been dispatched from our warehouse. When you pay in the webshop with your card, the amount is initially reserved prior to deduction from the card upon dispatch. From the time you enter your card details and place your order, we have seven days to charge the payment, otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.

If you find that a reservation has not been cancelled within seven days, please contact your card issuer as only your card issuer can cancel the reservation.

If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, the reservation will also be cancelled. In most cases, this takes a few business days.

Our payment platform uses an authorised payment server that encrypts all your card details using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your details cannot be intercepted.

Order confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation from dftp.co.uk. This summarises your purchase and the total price. This is not an acceptance of an order from dftp.co.uk. Only when dftp.co.uk dispatches the goods and sends your receipt by email is your order considered accepted and thus binding on dftp.co.uk.

Delivery

For shipments in the UK, we use Parcelforce for parcel shop and home delivery respectively. Delivery typically takes 1-3 business days (+1 business day to non-bridged islands).

You choose the shipping method in the order window. If you choose delivery to a private address, you have the option to choose whether or not the parcel can be left at the address.

We insure all shipments against loss and damage while in transit from our warehouse to the recipient’s address or to a parcel shop. As soon as a shipment has been signed for at the agreed address, the insurance will cease to apply.

For orders over £60, delivery is free if you choose the cheapest delivery option.

Cancellation and returns

dftp.co.uk offers a 30-day cancellation policy on all purchases.

The cancellation deadline expires 30 days after the day you receive your item or take physical possession of it. If the last day for exercising the right to cancel falls on a public holiday, a weekend, 24 December or 31 December, the period expires on the following working day. The cancellation deadline is met if you send notice of your exercise of the right to cancel before the 30-day cancellation period has expired.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must tell us categorically, e.g. by letter or e-mail, that you wish to cancel your purchase.

Start the return process by contacting us at info@dftpglobal.com – please attach this cancellation form: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0761/9169/5193/files/standard-fortrydelsesformular-Dftpglobal.com_v2.pdf?v=1696493463

You bear the cost of returning items to us, as well as the risk for items until they are in our possession. This means that if the parcel is lost in transit, you cannot claim compensation from dftp.co.uk.

If you have purchased multiple items from us, you can of course return one or more items, even if they were purchased in a single order. The original shipping fee will not be refunded in such cases.

You must include a copy of the order confirmation or other proof of purchase. In addition, it will facilitate processing if you include a copy of your return form.

NOTE: We do not accept parcels for collection at another address or parcels sent COD.

IMPORTANT: We expect you to send the items as soon as possible after you have given notice of cancellation, and you must return them no later than 14 days after you have exercised your right to cancel.

Items are to be returned to this address:

Unit 22, Deanfield Court

BB7 1QS Clitheroe Lancashire

Great Britain

Condition of items upon return

When returning the item, it must be in a saleable condition and like new. You have the right to examine the item to assess its nature, characteristics, and functionality, as you would be able to do in a physical store. This means that you may test the item to the extent necessary to determine these aspects, but you must not actually use the item.

If the item has been tried out beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

The item's packaging and the bag that comes with it also represent part of the item's value. It is therefore important to keep these elements intact and pack the item exactly as you received it.

Reimbursement of the purchase amount

If you cancel your purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to you. In the event of a depreciation in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount. We will refund the amount within 14 days from the day we received notification of your decision to cancel the contract, if we have received the items or proof of return.

We will refund the money using the same payment method you used to make the purchase.

NOTE: You may forfeit your purchase amount in whole or in part. This will happen if the value of the item has decreased because

  • you have actually used the item,
  • it has been damaged while you were liable for it,
  • you have handled the item in a way other than was necessary for you to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Right of complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means that you have a 24-month right of complaint.

Please file a complaint or contact us before sending items. If your complaint is justified, you will either be able to have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or reduced in price, depending on the specific situation.

You must complain within a “reasonable period” after you have discovered the fault. If you complain within two months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be considered to have been made in due time.

It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the fault has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product.

Start your complaint by e-mailing us with a description of the fault at info@dftpglobal.com. Include a copy of your receipt.

We will then assess the case and propose a solution. If you are required to return the item, we will generate a return label for you. In this case, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is shipped safely and that it is not damaged while in transit.
